We are playing at home and always known as "jaguh kampung". This is labelled as we used to win titles in our home ground. After the glorious win in Stadium Negara in 1992, we are almost nowhere in this competition. After one tournament to another the official's always sarcastically said that they have the best squad to win the title. But its always been empty handed when the tourney ends.
Back to today's match against the Japanese, they are actually underdogs compare to our "patriotics" players playing in front their own fans. But like my friends always said " kalau tengok sure kalah, kalau tak tengok confirmed menang". But i really scaptical with the ideas so went on and watched it live on tv.. There you go.. They LOST? what are they trying to do? Choon Han cant play and and Zakri duo also failed. Hafiz another loser with capital L.. Huh
My personal opinion, from rhw lineup of players, we dont have the strength to win the Cup as dreamed by te officials and the Govt. We dont have the quality players to beat others except for Datuk Lee Chong Wei. With the report from the newspaper thats said the world number 2, Lin Dan are at his best, i think we have to think twice before put too high hopes.. Look at China team.. The players are all world class unlike our Malaysian players. I dont condemned them but its the fact, look at the rankings.. They are almost not in the ranking lists of top 10's.
Thats the fact, the dream and the reality of our Thomas Cup 2010 team.
By the way I wish all the best in the remaining tougher matches after this.
